Spine Care Technologies welcomes the following members to its new Advisory Board:
Dr. Brian Hainline, MD, is Chief Medical Officer of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), President of the United States Tennis Association (USTA), Adjunct Clinical Professor of Neurology at Indiana University School of Medicine, and Clinical Professor of Neurology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. As the NCAA’s first Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Hainline oversees the NCAA Sport Science Institute, a national center of excellence whose mission is to promote and develop safety, excellence, and wellness in college student-athletes, and to foster life-long physical and mental development.
David Menche, MD, is the former Chairman of the Board at MOTION PT GROUP a sports medicine, physical therapy and occupational therapy company with 59 locations in Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts and New York. MOTION was formed by Dr. Menche in 2015 combining MetroSportsMed’s nine locations with STAR Physical Therapy. In 2023, MOTION completed a private equity transaction with Confluent Health and Partners Group. For the time being – Dr. Menche is continuing to act as the President & CEO of METRO SPORTSMED. David served as the Chief Orthopaedic Surgeon of the US Tennis Championships for 11 years – and he was a physician for the Chase Championships WTA Tour, U.S. Basketball Olympic Festival and the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid. Dr. Menche was also the Medical Director of Physical/Occupational Therapy at the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute and Associate Director of Sports Medicine at the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute.
Dr. Roy Sanders, MD, specializes in acute trauma and posttraumatic reconstruction, as well as Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is the President and CMO of Florida Orthopaedic Institute, the largest Orthopaedic group in Florida, a group he helped found. He is the Chairman of Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of South Florida. Dr. Sanders is highly respected both nationally and internationally for his work in Orthopaedic trauma and foot and ankle surgery. He has designed a comprehensive plating system for articular fractures as well as a complete intramedullary nailing system for long bones, and has been involved in the development of total ankle systems for the last 20 years. Dr. Sanders is the Past President of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association (2004-2005) and the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma, the leading international journal in its field. He currently serves as the Director of the Orthopaedic Trauma Service and Fellowship, and the Service line Chief of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Tampa General Hospital.
Dr. James Lehman, DC, MBA, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Sciences at the University of Bridgeport School of Chiropractic and Director of Health Sciences Postgraduate Education (HSPED). Dr. Lehman teaches orthopedic and neurological examination and differential diagnosis of neuromusculoskeletal conditions in the Doctor of Chiropractic program in the post-doctoral, Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine program. He provided clinical rotations for fourth-year chiropractic students and chiropractic residents in the community health center and a sports medicine rotation in the training facility of the local professional baseball team for ten years. James accepted the position as director of the UB Clinics in December of 2018. As Director of HSPED, he developed the three-year, full-time resident training program in chiropractic orthopedics and neuromusculoskeletal medicine. The program offers training within primary care facilities of a Federally Qualified Health Center and Patient-Centered Medical Home.
